CHUDNEY J SCORES BIG WITH HIT SINGLE "YUH NUH READY"

Negril native, and rising star, Chudney J, scored big with her hit single, “Yuh Nuh Ready”, produced by Izy Beats, featuring Gully Gad, Mavado. Released in May 2014, the song quickly gained international acclaim. Currently a top ten single, in syndicated dancehall charts, Chudney J and Mavado recently completed the official music video in Miami Florida.

The motion picture like production boast a poised, and modestly sensual, Chudney J. Veteran, billboard artist, Mavado showcased his usual gangster, gully yet well refined style. In an absolutely epic staging of the petite powerhouse’, coquettish alter ego, the video is a vivid depiction of the seductive lyrics. The unique visual experience captivates viewers more and more every minute into the sultry video. The scheduled release is set for October 2014.

In a recent radio interview with Pon D Ends, Chudney stated “I’ve always had a passion for music, art, and creating…” Chudney also owns and designs for AOOC (Art of Originality Clothing) which is another avenue that showcases her impeccable creative abilities. As for working with international, cross over artist, Mavado, she is later quoted in an interview with Diva Nikki Z, that when the concept of the song came about  “ we reached out to the boss, “Mavado”… he jumped on it… and it’s a HIT! I love it!”

The EP, “My Art”, Chudney J’s debut release, will journey fans through her everyday thoughts, emotions, struggles and triumph. She writes her material from the heart and describes her style as “reggae pop”.  

Chudney J will begin a European tour in October 2014, and Caribbean tour shortly after.
