In an exclusive, releases some damning evidence that singer K. Michelle's claims of physical abuse and domestic violence at the hands of ex-boyfriend, and music executive Memphitz, are simply not true.

On her last season on Love and Hip Hop ATL, K. took a stand against domestic violence in a dramatic spoken word set, and even fell out with fellow artist Rasheeda about the claims against Memphitz. "That man beat my ass!" she cried to Rasheeda (scene showed above) when confronted about the story not being true.

Memphitz is now married to Rasheeda's friend and child's mother to Lil Wayne, Toya Wright. She and her husband have always denied K. Michelle's claims. Check out the documents below. Will Memphitz be vindicated, once and for all? Has K. Michelle cried wolf all this time for reality TV ratings??

In all fairness to K. Michelle, since the previous article was released on, she has made a statement regarding the documents and statements on, see below.
After years of telling her story on how she nearly lost a second chance at her music career, K. Michelle might be seen in a different light after a new deposition transcription has been released.
According to Bossip, the outlet got their hands on the alleged documents, which go into detail of the Rebellious Soul singer revealing that her ex-boyfriend MempHitz did not, in fact, beat her like she claimed.
In the interview, K. Michelle reveals that the dispute between the two was not as intense as she made it out to be at first, and revealed that she wasn’t punched, nor did she have a black eye. She did claim, however, that she was hit with a water bottle, and had carpet burns from crawling.
Other topics were covered in the deposition including her plastic surgery, alleged threats via text message, and more.
Prior to today, Memphitz has denied he’s ever abused K. Michelle but in new court documents obtained from Mickey “Memphitz” Wright’s deposition (see attachment), Mickey finally admits to abusing K. Michelle and physically assaulting her . Wright states in deposition quotes attached that although he never “punched” K. Michelle he did wrestle her to the ground while smothering her with a towel to keep her from calling out for help. When authorities arrived to the scene, K. Michelle was visibly abused with marks and bruises on her body.
Wright admits to the following:
He is 6’2 and 200 pounds and works out three times a week, including boxing.”
“When he got into the hotel room he told Pate “Yo fo’reel, that’s the last time you embarrass me! I’m done!”
“…so I’m grabbing her. Yes, I grabbed her and held her hands down.”
“…and she was screaming and screaming and I’m like yo, okay, so I did. I covered her mouth because she was screaming so loud.”
“Q: So when you were covering her mouth with your hand or the towel or both [] she was standing up or was she laying down? A: She was on the ground — laying down…I was just holding her down like. She was just kicking and screaming, doing all this crazy stuff.”

K Michelle released a statement officially to use stating: “Domestic abuse isn’t just defined by whether a person strikes you with an open hand or a closed hand or whether a person kicks you or spits on you, abuse is abuse and there should be zero tolerance.”
Memphitz has also responded to the release of the court documents, as well as those showing him support, by posting a message on his Instagram that reads:
I appreciate the love. Lord knows my family been thru it. But God don’t make no mistakes. Back to real life. Anybody seen my career tho??

Since the release of the first episode of T.O.K Taking Over reality series, which airs on CVM TV on Sundays at 9 p.m., the show has been gaining fans every week and is becoming more popular with viewers after each episode. Now at its 10th episode, there is a growing fascination with the realness but distinct personality of each group member. The positive reviews and social-media commendations include, but are not limited to, the quality of the production and the entertainment value. Now riding on the popularity wave of the series, the group will be doing more outside of the show to cement their success in the industry. T.O.K recently released an EP (extended play project) on iTunes, which features the singles Taking Over, We Bring The Party, Good Good featuring Dj Blass, and the title project, Taking Over, which features newcomer Mariel Jacoda from the Therapist music camp.

Recently returned from US
Additionally, the group recently returned from the United States, where they were promoting the release of their EP and featured on a number of events in Massachusetts and within the New York Tri-State Area, the most recent performances being over the Labour Day Weekend where they, as usual, delivered great-calibre performances.
This year marks the 15th anniversary of T.O.K's reign in the music business and they will be celebrating this milestone on October 18, 2014 at the Famous Nightclub in Portmore, St Catherine, along with some of their closest friends. It's evident that T.O.K. is definitely 'Taking Over'.

TMZ reports Amber Rose has filed for divorce from husband-of-1-year Wiz Khalifa ... and she's gunning for full custody of their child.
In the divorce docs -- obtained by TMZ -- Amber says they split on Monday and cites irreconcilable differences. Amber is asking for full legal and physical custody of their 1-year-old son Sebastian. She's willing to give Wiz visitation.
Amber acknowledges there's a prenup, which you would think would work in Wiz' favor, but she says it's valid ... presumably, she's not challenging it. The docs say the prenup provides spousal support.
As for why they split, there's been a buzz over the last few days of infidelity, but there's no mention of it in the papers.
This comes as a complete shock to me, well, kind of. Celebrity couples have a rep for not lasting very long for various reasons, mostly the obvious public pressure. I'm keeping my ears close to the streets about this one. TMZ I want those documents ASAP!

Keep your head up Amber and Wiz.

Helmed by Legendary Reggae Producer Clive Hunt

Etana is happy to announce the release of her brand new album I Rise, available Oct 28, 2014 on VP Records. The beautifully-orchestrated set is helmed by the legendary Jamaican multi-instrumentalist and producer Clive Hunt, whose credits include Byron Lee & The Dragonaires, Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Peter Tosh, Rolling Stones, The Wailers, Grace Jones, Jimmy Cliff and many more. Clive arranged an all-star team of the island's musicians to contribute to the set - including himself, Sly Dunbar, Robbie Shakespeare, Grub Cooper, Handel Tucker, and Dean Fraser. The Jamaican singer-songwriter's melodic power blended with Clive's rich arrangements sets this album apart as one of the best throughout her stellar career.
Etana carries the torch as reggae's leading lady with this classic collection of love ballads and roots anthems. With her poised assurance and newfound strength, she evolves spiritually, mentally, emotionally and musically. Whether she is shedding light on the harsh ghetto realities on "Trigger," "Ward 21 (Stenna's Song)" and "How Long," conveying romantic longings on "Richest Girl," "Love Song," and "By Your Side" or expressing her deep-rooted spirituality on the exquisite Bob Marley remake of "Selassie Is The Chapel," the Marcia Griffith's cover of "Stepping Out Of Babylon," "Emancipation," and "On My Way" - each of the album's tracks is delivered with her soulful conviction.
Watch video for the album cut "Trigger":

I Rise follows Etana's criticially-acclaimed albums Better Tomorrow (2013), Free Expressions (2011) and The Strong One (2008). Better Tomorrow was hailed by BBC as her "most seamless album to date and finest piece of songwriting yet" and Associated Press called it "mature and confident sound with top-notch lyrical content and unique vocals." Free Expressions won praise from NPR for  being "a rarity: music that sermonizes, yet still sweetly serenades," while Essence raved that her debut The Strong One exuded "poetic consciousness amid soul-stirring grooves rivals that of gifted neo-soulsters." Etana's I Rise is poised for equal success and will inspire, liberate and uplift a new generation.
